Model 550B
The Trig-Tek, Inc. Model 550B Dual Channel Filter provides two independent channels of High Pass and Low Pass Filtering for use with multi-channel data acquistion systems. The Low Pass Filters section in these units utilize two seventh order elliptic filters in cascade, this allowing over 72dB/oct roll off. It is possible to cascade the two channels for a sharper roll off attenuation. A front panel thumb switch selects any -3dB cutoff frequency from 100Hz through 20kHz in 100Hz steps. The High Pass Filter is an 8-pole butterworth offering 48dB/oct roll off. The High Pass corner frequencies come standard at 750Hz, 2kHz and 5kHz or can be specified by the customer. The 550B provides selectable full scales of 1, 3 and 10 and offers AC and DC outputs.
