Model 458 Series 16-Slot Chassis
FEATURES: Accepts 1 to 16 Line Modules; User-Friendly Interface; Multiple Configurations; Field-Upgradeable Software; One-Year Warranty/Calibration. The 458 Series 16-slot Chassis, which consists of the 458-CC chassis and one of three control modules, provides a wide variety of configurations through use of up to 16 plug-in Line Modules. It is ideally suited for testing DSL modems and other bandwidth-compliant telecom devices in a high-volume production-line environment. The unit interfaces with a controlling PC or terminal via IEEE-488 or RS-232 to control loop-length settings. A user-friendly interface or user-command language may be used for control of the line modules. The Model 458-CC Chassis is used with our advanced 458 Line Module series to simulate several cable types and offers the bandwidth requirements for today’s xDSL technologies such as varieties of ADSL, G.Lite, HDSL, HDSL2, G.SHDSL (Annex 1), SDSL and VDSL2.
