Model 41P
The Trig-Tek, Inc. Model 41P Portable Calibrator is a highly accurate hand held signal generator designed for remote calibration of vibration instrumentation. Primarily used in Environmental Test Laboratories and Engine Test Cells, the 41P is ideal as a vibration sensor simulator. An extremely stable sinewave oscillator provides the following five selectable frequencies: 100 and 1000Hz (*standard acceleration verification), 61.4Hz (*where acceleration and velocity are equal), 140Hz (*where acceleration and displacement are equal) and 318Hz (*where velocity and displacement are equal). Signals are output in both millivolts and picocoulombs making it possible to calibrate charge mode amplifiers. A four digit thumb switch combined with a X10 switch allows level selection from 0.1 to 10,000, available in DC, Peak, Peak to Peak and RMS units. A new feature allows a 1 to 12 volts DC offset to be added to AC signals. A rechargeable battery provides 8 hours of continuous service, and has a low charge indicator on the front panel.
