The Trig-Tek, Inc. Model 251A ACL-8 Anderson Current Loop Conditioner is an eitght channel device which was designed to condition variable-resistance sensor signals from Strain Gage and RTD's. It is pacjaged to be compatible with Portable DAT Recorders. The 251A achieves its outstanding measurement performance by using NASA's patented (U.S. Patent No. 5,731,469) AOL technology instead of the classic wheatstone bridge. This four wire system employs an active voltage subtraction circuit which provides linear circuit response with delta R, offers twice the fundamental sensitivity achieved in a wheatstone bridge circuit and can tolerate random changes in the resistance of any and all lead wires. Each individual channel offers front panel adjustable Gain, Balance and Current as well as Gage, Reference and Output test points. Removable terminal strips provided input and output connection for each channel on the rear panel.
