Model 242B
The Trig-Tek, Inc. Model 242B Single Channel Charge Amplifier is designed to be used where rugged instrumentation is required, such as airborne or field measurements of vibration, shock or acoustics in extreme environments. The Charge Amplifier converts the signal from piezo-electric accelerometers to a voltage which is a function of acceleration. The unit has a normal output and a times ten output so the charge sensitivity of the unit can be factory set in the range of 10 to 100 mV/pC, with 10:1 gain variation using a multiturn potentiometer and the appropriate output.
