Mobile Reprogrammable Emitter Simulator (MRES)
The MRES supports Electronic Warfare system testing and aircrew combat training. It provides the ability to simulate any known threat signature with a single set of hardware, and can be rapidly reprogrammed. MRES can operate in stand-alone mode at a non-instrumented range for use in RDT&E, pre-deployment grooming, and electronic intercept/ECM training, or it can function as a fully integrated asset in more complex range settings. MRES is a wideband emitter, operating from 2 –18 GHz (0.4 – 2 GHz optional), and provide the ability to radiate up to 64 threats simultaneously. Target tracking options include ACMI/TACTS interface, optical, or IFF.
