Linear MEMS Attenuator
DiCon's Linear MEMS Attenuator digitally controls optical attenuation using a micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) chip. The I2C serial interface allows the attenuation level (in dB) to be controlled in set-and-forget fashion. Using a proprietary passive thermal compensation scheme, temperature stability is better than +/- 0.5 dB.
