Fiber-Optic Spectrometers and Light Sources

Fiber-optic spectrometers are optical instruments designed to measure light intensity in ultraviolet, visible, and infrared spectral regions. Light sources are often used with these spectrometers to illuminate a target or to act as a reference. Melles Griot offers two types of spectrometers. The standard resolution spectrometer is based on a 45-mm focal length optical bench with a 102-pixel detector. The high-resolution spectrometer uses a 75-mm focal length optical bench with a 2048-pixel detector. Both are available with a wide variety of gratings, slits and accessories.
