F-401 E Field Sensor
The sensor is a short cylindrical monopole having a very small effective height, making it very useful for resolving changes of field strength over small distances. It is especially useful for diagnostic testing of circuit boards, cabling and shielded structures. The probe has excellent sensitivity and is very useful in the "near field". However, since the absolute value of E/H for any given radiation source varies with distance as well as other parameters, the output is relative and uncalibrated.
