Electronic Loads and Accessories
C&D's small size electronic loads range from 0 to 50A and 0.65 to 200V. Total power consumption is 100W with a heat sink. Their package size is 2" x 2" x 0.5" (51 x 51 x 12.7mm). The loads can be alternatively controlled by an analog controlled input or a serial input (any digital I/O board or RS-485 based options). Real-time load simulation, power resistor substitution, battery testing, dynamic power supply testing and burn-in are examples of the many possible applications with these devices. The DTL-IFB-485 contains a 12 bit A/D converter to read back load voltage or current (via a shunt resistor).
