Die Pad Heat Spreader Quad Flat Pack (DPHQFP)
STATS'' Die Pad Heat Spreader Quad Flat Pack (DPHQFP) is a leadframe based, thermally enhanced plastic encapsulated package with gull wing shaped leads on four sides. The DPHQFP heat spreader is designed as an integral part of the leadframe and is fully embedded into the package. The large heat spreader is also designed for use as a power or ground plane, and is specially coated to minimize potential delamination. STATS'' in-house slug attachment capability offers quick turn prototyping with full flexibility to accommodate different heat slug designs.
