DCP Series
Advanced Conversion Products offers programmable DC power sources for a variety of industrial and laboratory applications including oil field wireline power and telemetry. Both standard and customized units are available to suit customers needs. Our DCP Series of DC sources feature very low noise. The wireline used to conduct DC power to the down-hole tool can also transmit data to the surface. The unit is programmed via computer control over a proprietary, 16-bit, bidirectional parallel or I2C bus, providing feedback capability including output voltage and current. The power supply can be programmed in either constant current or constant voltage mode. Additionally, the unit can be set to operate from a front panel control. The panel mounted display indicates power supply status. An output relay is used to completely disengage the power supply from the load. The compact programmable supply can be mounted in a transit case or 19î equipment rack with an optional adapter.
