The COBRA-11 is a turnkey system that emulates a complete PDP11 on a Windows PC (NT or Windows 2000). The PDP-11 CPU and memory are emulated by logic on the Co-Processor emulation card, and the PDP11 peripherals are emulated by mapping their functionality onto their most similar counterpart inside the Windows PC. Since the Co-Processor recognizes native PDP-11 binary instructions, the COBRA-11 will execute all existing PDP-11 software, regardless of the Operating System. No changes to the software (TPSs) are required (i.e. Migration of ATLAS and HP- BASIC without code changes)!
