BIT 4886
Talk-listen support for the IEEE 488.2 bus using SCPI is afforded by two plug-in cards: BIT 4882 and BIT 4882-F are 12-bit with resolution of 1/212; BIT 4886 is 16-bit with resolution of 1/216. These cards allow BOP to communicate as a stand-alone instrument, directly on the GPIB. The downloadable BIT 4886 driver supports digital calibration (no manual pots) and multiple control and read back ranges which are incorporated in the BIT 4886 Interface Card. The BIT 4882-F is an earlier version of the BIT 4882 which is compatible with most BOP models, although it is intended for earlier BOP Models (see the Applicability Table that shows which BIT card is recommended for a specific BOP Model and Revision Number).
