Software for Optically Evaluating Displays of Any Kind in Contrast, Brightness and Numeric Values - Modern electronics often use displays based on LCD, LED or Gas Discharge. These displays must be tested like other components. For this purpose, we have developed this option: We supervise the display with a video camera. The numbers, letters or pictograms are read and evaluated and the results are handed on to the test procedure. At the same time, contrast or intensity of the display are checked in order to find exact limit values between good and bad. A special editor enables you to fill in the necessary settings for automatic reading within a few minutes. Needless to say that with this device, you can also evaluate displays which do not use numbers but special symbols (pictograms) which were set especially for this task. You can also automatically adjust with the motorised trimmer: The optical measured value is controlled and the adjustment is executed according to the result. For this, you need a special PC board, a video camera, black-white, with tripod and a special control software.
