AAFIS (Advanced Automatic Flight Inspection System) is the next generation of Flight Inspection Systems. Dual VOR / ILS and DME receivers allow multiple inspections to be performed simultaneously, thereby saving flying time, as well as providing redundancy and the security of having two receivers providing identical measurements.
