A694 - Long Range Short Circuits Locator

This instrument has been designed to measure the distance to resistive faults in any type of metallic cable. It works on the principle of measuring the resistance of the two sections of the faulty conductor ratiometrically using a "Kelvin" configuration of four wires, thereby eliminating errors caused by test lead resistance.
