8666 - Thermistor Sensor Probe
The specially designed, shielded tip of this probes makes it ideal for monitoring moving air or gas temperatures. The exposed sensing element, located on the tip of a 3-3/4" long, 1/4" diameter, sheath, is protected by a perforated shield to minimize fluctuating readings caused by radiation or isolated gas pockets. The cord is an extendable / retractable coil-type which is 1-1/2 feet long and can extend up to 3 feet maximum.
