213A - Acoustic Tester
The Acoustic Tester is a plugin module to Telecom Tester 213. With Artificial Head 214 (or Brüel & Kjær) it measures the acoustic parameters of a handset. A sweep of up to 46 frequencies gives the frequency response curves for the transmitter, receiver and side tone. A pass/fail test can be made against pre-set limits for the mask (upper and lower limit of the frequency response) as well as for the calculated Loudness Rating or OREM values. The impedance at 1kHz is measured as well
