Home : News iCon: An Innovative Connector for the Test & Measurement Industry iCon combines signal, power and coaxial modules in one compact device. It is designed for high density, mating up to 320 signal contacts using VPC’s QuadraPaddle technology. Engaging the ITA and the Receiver only requires a quick half-turn of the handle. This engaging mechanism secures the connector while guaranteeing consistent performance up to 10,000 cycles. It’s keying and guide pin configurations protect contacts from damage when using multiple connectors, and contacts have been recessed for added pin protection. A removable U-shaped cable clamp and slide-off cover allow modules to be pre-wired before assembly providing ease of installation and serviceability.
