Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) provides the warfighter with versatile, cost effective diagnostic equipment to quickly and efficiently evaluate and assess the health of defense electronics and EO/IR systems in both a test environment and in the field. In addition, the RF and IR field and laboratory simulation equipment designed and built by the Division’s Amherst System organization ensures that the Armed Forces train as they fight.
